"In 2023, the Supreme Court issued its decision in Anderson v Anderson, finding a "kitchen table" agreement for the division of family property was enforceable. In the three years since that decision, the Court of King's Bench has continued to interpret and apply Anderson in Alberta. Learn more about Anderson, the factors affecting the enforceability of "kitchen table" and other agreements, and the important roles counsel still play in interspousal agreements."
